“WanderLuxe is a line for the modern gypsy and well-traveled woman. Our shibori items are hand-dyed in India by master artisans. We work with a fair trade, family business in Jaipur to make sure that everyone involved in making these items is treated right. Our philosophy is to buy less and buy better. Each item is hand-dyed and one of a kind.

WanderLuxe was started by Vanessa Larson, a former buyer, as a way to share her love of travel and hand-crafted items. She travels around the world, meeting with artisans, and designing contemporary items that use traditional skills. Her hope is to help preserve the unique skills and imperfect beauty of the products made by these artisans.”

About the clothes ⬇️

Fair Trade | Hand-Dyed | Cotton | Shibori | Indigo

From the beach to the pool, from your summer vacation to lounging about the house, this lightweight beach cover up will be the first item you reach for. Loose, flowy and airy, you won’t want to take it off. It’s beyond comfortable and yet it still looks chic.

We worked with a fair-trade company in India to produce these items. Each cover up is handmade using the Japanese technique of dyeing called shibori. Master artisans in India stitch, bind, twist and fold sections of the cloth with thread to create these patterns. These dresses are made from local Indian cotton and non-toxic dyes.
